Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated apple, chopped sage, breadcrumbs, egg, diced onion, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until evenly blended.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a small loaf. Place the loaves on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the meatloaves for 25 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
While the meatloaves bake, place the cubed butternut squash in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 12 to 15 minutes until tender.
Drain the squash and return it to the pot. Add the maple syrup, butter, and a pinch of salt. Mash until smooth.
